![]() ![]() I actually didn't even have problems when running vista. I haven't had any problems with my win7 not running any apps from XP. I installed the raw codec on the microsoft website and I win7 32bit. Why don't you use that built in virtual machine Microsoft included into Windows 7 so you can use XP on the things that don't work on Windows 7.Įxclusive spark edited this topic ages ago. good ol Microsoft lack of backwards compatibility. I found this free third party codec pack that supports all major RAW formats.I've had it on my computer for a few weeks now and it works fine so far. I put 64 bit Win7 on the desktop system and found there was not a Canon 64 bit Codec. I installed Canon's codec to the 32 bit version on my netbook and it worked fine. ![]() The raw viewer file that I was able to use in XP and Vista cannot be used. I however am unable to open a raw image file (CR2) in Windows 7. ![]()
